Today I was roaming the internet and found out that I could not find the older Version of the Firmware anywhere on the internet(1011.0). So after that I went ahead and updated the software. So all the softwares should work for all G7 monitors, irrelevant of the region. The only difference is the newer 2021 G7 model that had a bit better Power consumption. Apart from that, all G7 monitor have the same Hardware. I did contact Samsung regarding the Model Naming scheme, and they said that the number after LC32G7 tells the region of the monitor. The fix involves using an HDMI cable and then installing a firmware fix you can download directly from Nvidias website 1 OkGur4788 2 mo. There is just one problem with a particular game on a particular screen of that game, when the monitor flickers. I don't see any particular improvements in picture quality or performance. If you have no problems and youre just wanting the latest software, think twice, this is unnecessary and even potentially harmful. The Faker Edition for example has a different firmware series and will report that it does not see anything useful, as it were. I knew i need to upgrade the firmware with the version 1009.3. I just tried it today, and it worked for me. Your version of the G7 is the newest release, and your software is the newest as well. After doing that, change the file name as follows.īe sure that nothing else is changed in the file name, or it won't work. Make sure that this is the only file on the USB drive. You have to change the Software version to 0000.0(XXXX.X to 0000.0) for instance, if you are currently on TG700CCAA-1014.1.bin, and you want to revert to M-TG700CCAA-1011.0.bin you would just put the M-TG700CCAA-1011.0.bin file on a FAT32 formatted USB drive. To downgrade, you need to change the file name a bit. So I was using M-TG700CCAA-1011.0 and updated to M-TG700CCAA-1014.1 which was a software for G7 in another Region and did not go well with my version. The trick is to leave the CCAA part alone and just change the version number itself (The 5 digits).
